Renhard is a Letinese native speaker from Indonesia. He is a sociolinguist, researching corpus data, linguistic relationships, phonetics, language vitality, language use, language variation, and community needs. He is currently working toward a Master’s in Linguistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as he studies the language shift of Leti, and continues researching under-developed languages in Indonesia. He also expects to continue doing more language development in Indonesia’s local languages for many years to come. In his free time, Renhard enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling to new places.
