Island Comox (Salhulhtxw), Mainland Comox (Homalco, Klahoose, Sliammon, Éy7á7juuthem). All use the mainland dialect. Island Comox dialect has no remaining L1 speakers (Mithun 1999).

Language Use

Older adults only. Also use English [eng], with high rates of bilingualism; some in ethnic group speak it as L1.
