Several enclaves, north, Chisinau and Criuleni, districts; central, mainly Gagauzia District; also, Leova, Cantemir, and Cimisilia districts; south, Cahul, Ceadîr-Lunga, Basarabeasca, Taraclia and Vulcânsti areas and towns.

Bulgar Gagauzi, Maritime Gagauzi. Reportedly similar to Turkish [tur], but uses Russian Orthodox Christian religious vocabulary in contrast to Islamic vocabulary of Turkish.
