Nuučaan̓uɫ capitalization

I am editor at Talonbooks, Vancouver, working with my colleagues on a play containing phrases and words, sometimes complete sentences, in the Nuučaan̓uɫ (Nuu-chah-nulth) language. There seems to be varying use in contemporary corpora and online/print publications concerning the capitalization of the language: should word be capitalized as in English (capitalized proper names and first words of sentences) or left all lower case, as in Coast Salish languages or Cree? Use by the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council does not provide clear guidance. I would appreciate any help on the matter. Thank you. Charles Simard Vancouver
