None known. Structurally distinct from Romanian [ron] (Agard 1984). Split from the other 3 Romanian languages between 500 and 1000 A.D. Different from Istriot [ist].

Language Use

Adults only. No children and few younger speakers (Salminen 2007). All also use Croatian [hrv] (Salminen 2007), Serbian [srp] (Salminen 2007).
